January 5, 2023: Frenchtown, NJ 08825 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ) and the host Delaware Valley Terriers (Frenchtown, NJ), saw Bernards's basketball squad hold off Delaware Valley by a count of 64-62.
With the victory, Bernards upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ) to play the Destroyers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Destroyers come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Dunellen lost 51-46 in their recent league challenge against Calvary Christian (Old Bridge, NJ)
Next up, the Terriers play the Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks (Washington, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Delaware Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 54-47 non-league win over North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ).
