January 5, 2023: Stockbridge, GA 30281 Calvary Christian Knights (Columbus, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Community Christian (Stockbridge, GA), 74-40 in a league bout.
With the win, Calvary Christian upgrades its record to 2-8 on the season. The Knights host Trinity Christian (Opelika, AL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the play the Konos Academy (Fayetteville, GA) in a GAPPS - I-AAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 6. Community Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 70-57 non-league loss to Trinity Christian School of Griffin (Griffin, GA).
