Charles O. Dickerson Blue Raiders (Trumansburg, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dryden Lions (Dryden, NY), 56-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Charles O. Dickerson upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Blue Raiders host Edison (Elmira Heights, NY) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Edison lost 56-32 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (Elmira, NY)

Next up, the Lions play the Newark Valley Cardinals (Newark Valley, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Dryden will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 72-41 league loss to Waverly (Waverly, NY).
