New Jersey High School Basketball - Woodbury crushes Gateway Regional
January 5, 2023: Woodbury, NJ 08096 Woodbury Thundering Herd (Woodbury, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad wallop the visiting Gateway Regional Gators (Woodbury Heights, NJ), 74-28 in a league challenge.
With the victory, Woodbury improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Thundering Herd travel to Cherokee (Marlton, NJ) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Cherokee lost 48-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ)
Next up, the Gators confront the Salem County Vo-Tech (Woodstown, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Gateway Regional will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 63-41 league loss to Camden County Vo-Tech (Sicklerville, NJ).
