South Dakota High School Basketball - McLaughlin fells Stanley County
January 5, 2023: McLaughlin, SD 57642 McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD), 59-41 in a league bout.
With the win, McLaughlin upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Crow Creek (Stephan, SD) to play the Chieftains in a A Region 6 bout on Friday, January 6. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Crow Creek won 65-49 in their recent non-league bout against St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD)
Next up, the Buffalos play the Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Stanley County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Scotties go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 62-26 league win over Oelrichs (Oelrichs, SD).
