South Dakota High School Basketball - Herreid/Selby knocked off by McLaughlin
December 9, 2022: Herreid, SD 57632 The McLaughlin Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Herreid/Selby Wolverines to 36 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lower Brule for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. McLaughlin will battle a Sioux team coming off a 89-55 non-league win over Marty Indian (Marty, SD). The Sioux record now stands at 1-0.
The Wolverines (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Timber Lake ran past Lemmon (Lemmon, SD), 63-42, in a league contest.
