The Lower Brule Sioux basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host McLaughlin Mustangs to 37 in the Sioux non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Sioux now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Ridge for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Lower Brule will battle a Thorpes team coming off a 66-53 non-league win over Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Thorpes record now stands at 1-0.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Wambdi go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Tiospa Zina was crushed by Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD), 66-53, in a non-league bout.
