January 5, 2023: Maplewood, NJ 07040 The Columbia Cougars basketball team (Maplewood, NJ), was overwhelmed 63-25 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Immaculate Conception Blue Wolves (Lodi, NJ)
The Blue Wolves now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glen Rock for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 11. Immaculate Conception will confront a Panthers team coming off a 37-30 non-league loss to Randolph (Randolph, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 7-2.
The Cougars (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ). The Big Blue come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, The Pingry School was overwhelmed by Mount St. Mary Academy (Watchung, NJ), 47-44, in a league battle.
