North Carolina High School Basketball - Trinity Academy nips Neuse Christian Academy
January 5, 2023: Raleigh, NC 27615 Trinity Academy Tigers (Raleigh, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Neuse Christian Academy Lions (Raleigh, NC), 31-26 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Trinity Academy upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC) to play the Lion in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Lion come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill won 48-11 in their recent league bout against Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Lions play the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls (Durham, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Neuse Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Bulls come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 34-4 non-league loss to Emerson Waldorf (Chapel Hill, NC).
