California High School Basketball - St. Anthony overwhelms Serra

January 5, 2023: Long Beach, CA 90802

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) and the visiting Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA), saw St. Anthony's basketball squad wallop Serra by a tally of 86-39.

With the victory, St. Anthony improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Fairmont Prep won 56-46 in their recent non-league challenge against La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA)

Next up, the Cavaliers confront the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a Del Rey challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Serra will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Swordsmen come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 62-58 non-league win over Eisenhower (Rialto, CA).
