Virginia High School Basketball - Westover Christian Academy tipped by Carlisle
January 5, 2023: Axton, VA 24054 The Carlisle Chiefs basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs to 44 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Chiefs now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue Ridge Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Carlisle will meet a Bears team coming off a 44-33 league loss to Grace Christian (Staunton, VA). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA). The Crusaders enter the contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Temple Christian nudged Roanoke Valley Christian (Roanoke, VA), 50-42, in a league contest.
