Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) and the visiting Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs (Danville, VA), saw New Covenant's basketball squad hold off Westover Christian Academy by a tally of 52-48.

With the victory, New Covenant improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA) to confront the Caissons in a challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Caissons come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.
