Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings face the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) in a SCVAL - El Camino challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Lynbrook will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Matadors enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Gilroy (Gilroy, CA).

The Trojans now have a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Saratoga for a SCVAL - El Camino challenge on Tuesday, January 10. Milpitas will face a Falcons team coming off a 1-1 league Cupertino (Cupertino, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-3.
