The Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) basketball knocked off the host Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA), 73-62 in Friday's league test.

The Lions (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Cristo Rey Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA). The Blue Pride go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Cristo Rey Philadelphia notched a victory over Life Center Academy (Burlington, NJ), 80-73, in a league test.

The now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Abington Friends for a Friends Schools test on Tuesday, January 9.
