In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils (Philadelphia, PA), by a margin of 80-76.

The Lions (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, McDonogh got by Goretti (Hagerstown, MD), 53-40, in a non-league outing.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hill School for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 7.
