Michigan High School Basketball - Cabrini knocked off by Austin Catholic
January 5, 2024: Chesterfield, MI 48051 The Austin Catholic Crusaders basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Cabrini Monarchs to 38 in the Crusaders league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farber Hebrew Day for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. Austin Catholic will battle a team coming off a 57-36 non-league loss to Kohelet Yeshiva (Merion Station, PA). The record now stands at 3-2.
The Monarchs (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI). The WOLVES enter the Catholic Intersectional II contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Detroit Cristo Rey was defeated by Osborn (Detroit, MI), 61-37, in a non-league contest.
