January 5, 2024: Auburn, MI 48611 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI) and the visiting Midland Chemics (Midland, MI), saw Bay City Western's basketball squad overcome Midland by a tally of 65-45.
With the victory, Bay City Western improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Saginaw (Saginaw, MI) to play the Trojans in a Saginaw Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Chemics play the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Midland will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 74-66 non-league loss to Renaissance (Detroit, MI).
