Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) and the visiting Evansville Reitz Panthers (Evansville, IN), saw Bedford North Lawrence's basketball squad hold off Evansville Reitz by a tally of 61-59.

With the victory, Bedford North Lawrence improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Stars travel to South Knox (Vincennes, IN) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.
