January 5, 2024: Bigfork, MN 56628 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hill City Hornets (Hill City, MN) and the host Bigfork Huskies (Bigfork, MN), saw Hill City's basketball squad wallop Bigfork by a tally of 64-42.
With the victory, Hill City improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Cromwell (Cromwell, MN) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Cromwell won 77-38 in their recent league challenge against South Ridge (Culver, MN)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Bigfork will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 92-18 non-league loss to Kittson Central (Hallock, MN).
