In Friday's non-league match, the host Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers basketball team scored a decisive 84-20 triumph over the Bigfork Huskies.

In their next game, the Rangers meet the Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN) in a AA Section 7 match, on Thursday, February 29. Mountain Iron-Buhl will attempt to better on its 20-5 season record.

With the defeat, Bigfork moves to 4-19 on the year. The Huskies travel to Cook County (Grand Marais, MN) to meet the Vikings in a A Section 7 match on Monday, February 26. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 6-12. Cook County won 75-62 in their recent non-league match against Blackduck (Blackduck, MN)
