January 5, 2024: Durham, NC 27705 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Christian Patriots (Durham, NC) and the visiting Carolina Mustangs Mustangs (Durham, NC), saw Liberty Christian's basketball squad wallop Carolina Mustangs by a tally of 66-24.
With the victory, Liberty Christian improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Patriots host Greenville Christian Academy (Greenville, NC) to confront the Knights in a NCCSA AA East Region 4 challenge on Monday, January 8. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Greenville Christian Academy won 55-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Bradford Academy Archers (Mebane, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Carolina Mustangs will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Archers come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 58-41 league loss to Cresset Christian Academy (Durham, NC).
