January 5, 2024: Highland Home, AL 36041 The Charles Henderson Trojans basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the host Highland Home Flying Squadron to 54 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Keith for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Charles Henderson will battle a Bears team coming off a 87-81 non-league loss to Dallas County (Plantersville, AL). The Bears record now stands at 7-8.
The Flying Squadron (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Zion Chapel (Jack, AL). The Rebels come into the 2A Area 4 contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Zion Chapel dropped by Luverne (Luverne, AL), 50-41, in a league contest.
