Georgia High School Basketball - Savannah trounces Claxton
January 5, 2024: Savannah, GA 31404 The Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Claxton Tigers (Claxton, GA), 71-31 in Friday's league test.
The Bluejackets (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Paxon School For Advanced Studies (Jacksonville, FL). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Paxon School For Advanced Studies walloped Baker County (Glen St. Mary, FL), 63-22, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host McIntosh County Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Claxton will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 87-30 league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-4.
