North Carolina High School Basketball - Greenfield overwhelms Coastal Christian
January 5, 2024: Wilson, NC 27895 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Greenfield Knights (Wilson, NC) and the visiting Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC), saw Greenfield's basketball squad wallop Coastal Christian by a tally of 87-32.
With the victory, Greenfield improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Southern Wake Academy won 74-24 in their recent league challenge against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC)
Next up, the Centurions play the Epiphany Falcons (New Bern, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Plain challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Coastal Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 63-48 non-league loss to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC).
