North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwood Temple Academy nudges Coastal Christian

December 23, 2023: Fayetteville, NC 28311

Northwood Temple Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Coastal Christian Centurions (Wilmington, NC), 64-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwood Temple Academy upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Eagles host New Life Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 9-7.

Next up, the Centurions clash with the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Coastal Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to Croatan (Newport, NC).
