The Foster Falcons basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Fort Bend Kempner Cougars to 38 in the Falcons league victory on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Terry for a 5A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Foster will battle a Rangers team coming off a 81-15 league loss to Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 5-18.

The Cougars (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fulshear (Fulshear, TX). The Chargers come into the 5A Region III District 20 contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Fulshear edged Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX), 60-41, in a league contest.
