Alabama High School Basketball - Geraldine overwhelms Sylvania
January 5, 2024: Geraldine, AL 35974 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Geraldine Bulldogs (Geraldine, AL) and the visiting Sylvania Rams (Sylvania, AL), saw Geraldine's basketball squad wallop Sylvania by a tally of 84-53.
With the victory, Geraldine improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Asbury (Albertville, AL) to confront the Rams in a 3A Area 14 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Asbury won 52-19 in their recent non-league challenge against West End (Walnut Grove, AL)
Next up, the Rams battle the Fyffe Red Devils (Fyffe, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 6. Sylvania will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Red Devils come into the contest with a 9-10 record after their 69-54 league win over Gaston (Gadsden, AL).
