The Gibson County Pioneers basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Milan Bulldogs to 24 in the Pioneers league triumph on Friday.

The Pioneers now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ripley for a 2A District 14 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Gibson County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-49 non-league win over Halls (Halls, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.

The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Westview (Martin, TN). The Chargers enter the 2A District 14 contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Westview was defeated by Dyer County (Newbern, TN), 59-51, in a non-league contest.
