January 5, 2024: Frisco, TX 75034 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Legacy Christian Academy Eagles (Frisco, TX) and the visiting Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX), saw Legacy Christian Academy's basketball squad overcome Grace Community by a tally of 51-42.
With the victory, Legacy Christian Academy improves its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Eagles host North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 12. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. North Central Texas Academy lost 46-29 in their recent non-league challenge against V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Bishop Dunne Falcons (Dallas, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Grace Community will attempt to improve on its 12-10 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 60-42 league win over Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX).
