Iowa High School Basketball - Stanton crushes Hamburg
January 5, 2024: Stanton, IA 51573 Stanton Vikings (Stanton, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hamburg Wildcats (Hamburg, IA), 83-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stanton upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Vikings host Sidney (Sidney, IA) to clash with the Cowboys in a Corner bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Sidney lost 54-35 in their recent league bout against East Mills (Malvern, IA)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Hamburg will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
