January 5, 2024: Nome, AK 99762 Nome-Beltz Nanooks (Nome, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kotzebue Huskies (Kotzebue, AK), 63-52 in a league bout.
With the win, Nome-Beltz upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Nanooks host Valdez (Valdez, AK) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Valdez won 74-33 in their recent non-league bout against Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK)
Next up, the Huskies clash with the Unalakleet Wolfpack (Unalakleet, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Kotzebue will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 74-33 non-league loss to Valdez (Valdez, AK).
