January 5, 2024: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tallulah Falls Indians (Tallulah Falls, GA) and the host Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA), saw Tallulah Falls's basketball squad knock off Lanier Christian Academy by a tally of 60-48.
With the victory, Tallulah Falls improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Elbert County (Elberton, GA) to play the Blue Devils in a A D1 Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Elbert County lost 70-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)
Next up, the Lightning play the Westminster Christian Academy Lions (Watkinsville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Lanier Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 65-46 non-league loss to Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA).
