The Comets now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maplewood Baptist Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. Mackinaw City will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 71-64 non-league win over North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI). The Black Bears record now stands at 4-2.
The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Boyne Falls (Boyne Falls, MI). The Loggers come into the Northern Lakes battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Boyne Falls trounced Alba (Alba, MI), 85-14, in a non-league battle.
