January 5, 2024: Mead, WA 99021 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA) and the visiting Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA), saw Mt. Spokane's basketball squad overcome Mead by a tally of 72-55.
With the victory, Mt. Spokane improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ferris (Spokane, WA) to confront the Saxons in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Monday, January 8. The Saxons come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Ferris won 68-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Coeur d'Alene (Coeur d'Alene, ID)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge, on Monday, January 8. Mead will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 65-48 league loss to North Central (Spokane, WA).
