The Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), 53-49 in Friday's non-league test.

The Pirates (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Immanuel (Reedley, CA). The Eagles go into the Tri-County - Sequoia test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Immanuel got by San Leandro (San Leandro, CA), 60-54, in a non-league test.
