Seaforth Hawks (Pittsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC), 64-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Seaforth upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Hawks travel to Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to play the Jets in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout on Friday, January 12. The Jets go into the bout with a record of 5-7.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Graham Red Devils (Graham, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout, on Monday, January 8. North Moore will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 83-34 league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
