The Palmview Lobos basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Roma Gladiators to 35 in the Lobos league triumph on Friday.

The Lobos now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Juarez-Lincoln for a 5A Region IV District 30 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Palmview will battle a Huskies team coming off a 68-20 league loss to Martin (Laredo, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 2-22.

The Gladiators (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Martin (Laredo, TX). The Tigers enter the 5A Region IV District 30 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Martin triumphed over Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX), 68-20, in a league contest.
