Mississippi High School Basketball - Picayune knocked off by Presbyterian Christian
January 5, 2024: Picayune, MS 39466 The Presbyterian Christian Bobcats basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Picayune Maroon Tide to 48 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Presbyterian Christian will meet a Warriors team coming off a 56-32 non-league loss to Bayou Academy (Cleveland, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 5-10.
The Maroon Tide (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against George County (Lucedale, MS). The Rebels come into the 6A Region 4 challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, George County was dropped by West Harrison (Gulfport, MS), 60-45, in a league challenge.
