December 12, 2023: Picayune, MS 39466 In Tuesday's league outing, the Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS) basketball squad edged the visiting Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS), by a count of 45-44.
The Maroon Tide (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Bearcats go into the 6A Region 4 outing with a 2-12 record. In their last outing, Long Beach was tipped by West Harrison (Gulfport, MS), 65-30, in a league outing.
The Hawks now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pascagoula for a 6A Region 4 outing on Friday, December 15.
