Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws (Bay St. Louis, MS), 45-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hancock upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Hawks host Gulfport (Gulfport, MS) to play the Admirals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Admirals go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Rock-a-Chaws play the Sacred Heart Crusaders (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. St. Stanislaus will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 71-48 non-league loss to Purvis (Purvis, MS).
