In Thursday's non-league outing, the Harrison Central Red Rebels (Gulfport, MS) basketball squad beat the visiting Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS), by a margin of 51-31.

The Hawks now own a 12-15 record. They play next when they host George County for a 6A Region 4 outing on Monday, February 5. Hancock will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 61-59 non-league win over Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 8-16.
