The Hawks now sport a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Harrison for a 6A Region 4 battle on Friday, January 12. Hancock will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 67-38 league loss to Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS). The Hurricanes record now stands at 11-7.
The Bearcats (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against George County (Lucedale, MS). The Rebels come into the 6A Region 4 battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, George County dropped by Picayune (Picayune, MS), 51-48, in a league battle.
