South Carolina High School Basketball - Providence Athletic Club tops Upstate HomeSchool
January 5, 2024: Spartanburg, SC 29301 Providence Athletic Club Panthers (Columbia, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Upstate HomeSchool Bearcats (Spartanburg, SC), 69-55 in a league bout.
With the victory, Providence Athletic Club upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Anderson Cavaliers (Anderson, SC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Anderson Cavaliers lost 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Easley HomeSchool Guardians (Easley, SC) in a South Carolina Christian A - Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Upstate HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Guardians come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 69-36 non-league win over Mountain View Christian Academy (Cowpens, SC).
