The South Bison basketball team (Cheyenne, WY), was overwhelmed 66-20 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Riverton Wolverines (Riverton, WY)

The Wolverines now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laramie for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. Riverton will confront a Plainsmen team coming off a 64-45 non-league win over Rock Springs (Rock Springs, WY). The Plainsmen record now stands at 7-1.

The Bison (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wheatland (Wheatland, WY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Wheatland was routed by Evanston (Evanston, WY), 51-46, in a non-league contest.
