Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Riverton Wolverines (Riverton, WY), 46-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Thunder Basin upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bolts travel to Sioux Valley (Volga, SD) to play the Cossacks in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Cossacks come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Natrona County Mustangs (Casper, WY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Riverton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 69-47 non-league win over Star Valley (Afton, WY).
