Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Saegertown trounces Union City
January 5, 2024: Saegertown, PA 16433 The Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Union City Bears (Union City, PA), 51-20 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Eisenhower (Russell, PA). The Knights go into the District 10 Region 2 test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Eisenhower walloped Titusville (Titusville, PA), 71-59, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Youngsville for a District 10 Region 2 test on Tuesday, January 9. Union City will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 55-40 league loss to Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
