January 5, 2024: Richland, NJ 08350 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ) and the host St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ), saw St. Joseph's basketball squad hold off St. Augustine Prep by a tally of 72-67.
With the victory, St. Joseph improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Toms River North (Toms River, NJ) to play the Mariners in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Mariners come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Toms River North won 67-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Brick Township (Brick, NJ)
Next up, the Hermits play the Middle Township Panthers (Cape May Court House, NJ) in a Cape/Atlantic - American challenge, on Monday, January 8. St. Augustine Prep will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 73-43 non-league win over Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City, NJ).
