Washington High School Basketball - Garfield nips Roosevelt
January 5, 2024: Seattle, WA 98122 Garfield Bulldogs (Seattle, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Seattle, WA), 51-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Garfield upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to O'Dea (Seattle, WA) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a record of 8-1. O'Dea won 61-55 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Blanchet (Seattle, WA)
Next up, the Roughriders play the Cleveland Eagles (Seattle, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Roosevelt will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 58-11 non-league loss to Lincoln (Seattle, WA).
