The Mustangs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cibola for a non-league battle on Monday, January 8. West Mesa will battle a Cougars team coming off a 54-46 non-league win over Manzano (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
The Hornets (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, La Cueva dropped by Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 70-63, in a non-league battle.
