January 24, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87122 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), saw La Cueva's basketball squad overcome West Mesa by a tally of 56-45.
With the victory, La Cueva improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Piedra Vista lost 57-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. West Mesa will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 67-56 non-league win over Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
